Delivery man charged with fraud
A 24-year-old delivery man was yesterday charged with fraud exceeding €2,330 (Lm1,000).
Carmel Cilia of Rabat was charged with defrauding Shopwise Supermarket and Golden Harvest, misappropriation and with tampering with invoices on and before January 2004.
Magistrate Antonio Micallef Trigona heard Mr Cilia plead not guilty to the charges.
Police Inspector Ian Abdilla prosecuted.
Lawyers Josè Herrera and Veronique Dalli were defence counsel.
