Zachary Zammit and Annelise Abela won the BoV Prize in Drama 2007, awarded to Masquerade students who achieve the highest grades in the Trinity Guildhall solo examination in drama.

This was the second edition of the award, which was launched in 2006. The BoV Prize in Drama is designed to encourage excellence in the artistic studies of drama students.

"This initiative of rewarding and promoting excellence among drama students underlines the importance given to the promotion of the arts and education within the BoV Community Programme," explained Mr Galea. While congratulating the students on the outstanding result achieved, Mr Galea added that the BoV Prize in Drama seeks to encourage young people to develop their artistic talents thus contributing towards the promotion of drama within Malta's artistic scene.

"One cannot but commend the effort put in by all the students who sat for the Trinity Guildhall solo examination in Drama," said Mr Bezzina. "This prize serves to further motivate the participants in aspiring for higher results in future," he concluded.
