The Malta Labour Party will be holding its annual general conference at the party headquarters in Ħamrun on January 24, 25 and 27.

The party's deputy leader for party affairs, Michael Falzon said MLP leader Alfred Sant, who is convalescing after major surgery, will address the conference on the last day.

Dr Falzon said the theme of three motions, which have been presented for discussion at the conference, centre on the family, social protection and a better standard of living through more work opportunities.

In the three days prior to the conference, from Monday to Wednesday, the MLP will hold three 'fringe meetings' on each of the three subjects of the motions.
