Environment Minister George Pullicino has accepted the resignation of Catherine Galea, deputy chairman of the Malta Environment and Planning Authority.

The Department of Information said the minister had accepted architect Galea’s resignation owing to her involvement as architect in works carried out on a temporary ramp on protected land before approval from Mepa.

Mr Pullicino thanked Ms Galea for her service.
