I refer to the letter by David Thake entitled SMS Euro Prices (December 20). All SMS and call rates being charged by Go Mobile have been converted with the best interest of the customer in mind while adhering to the FAIR initiative, of which Go Mobile was one of the first companies to become a member.

The rounding to the nearest cent is inevitable due to the change in the national currency. All euro conversions have been rounded both up and down in accordance with the guidelines issued by NECC. Thus, the Lm0.02 SMS rate is rounded from €0.0466 to €0.05, while the Lm0.01 SMS rate has been rounded down in the customer's favour from €0.0233 to €0.02, which results in a price decrease of 14 per cent when compared with the previous Lm rate.

Go Mobile offers a range of tariff plans with different pricing options. Customers are encouraged to familiarise themselves with these plans in order to choose the one that caters best for their needs.
