Song for Europe semi-finalists announced

The 17 songs which have made it to the semi- finals of the Song for Europe contest were announced by the MaltaSong board this evening. They will be performed on January 24 at the convention centre at Ta’Qali, with the final night at the same venue on January 26.

The list, reproduced below in the order of appearance on the semi-finals night, includes former winners Mary Spiteri and Chris and Moira and last year’s runner-up Klinsmann.

The songs and their singers are: Loved by You, Glenn and Pamela; Caravaggio, Claudia Faniello; Give me a chance, Eleanor Cassar; My Last Encore, Mary Spiteri; Casanova, Morena; Throw your stones, Daniela Vella;

Love is just the way, Rosman Pace; Go, Klinsmann; Vodka, Morena; Whispers, Pamela; Super Hero, Klinsmann; Contradiction, Jean Claude Vancell;

All Right, Chris and Moira; Tangled, Jessica Muscat; If you believe, Mary Spiteri; Street Car of Desire, Petra Zammit; and Sunrise, Claudia Faniello.
