Popeye extends his stay for Christmas panto

The Kumpanija Teatru Rjal has increased the number of performances of its pantomine Popeye u l-Pastizzi ta' l-Ispinaci due to a large demand for tickets.

The show will be staged tomorrow at 7.30 p.m., on Saturday at 7 p.m., on Sunday at 2 and 6.30 p.m., on January 12 at 7 p.m. and on January 13 at 6 p.m.

The seventh edition of the pantomine held at the Catholic Institute, Floriana, features, for the first time, two dames: Hector Bruno as Cetta and Ronald Briffa as Marinton. The panto is directed by Anthony Ellul.

Tickets can be purchased from Pawlu Testa Travel, Guadamangia (2122 3340/2722 3340), the booking office at the Catholic Institute (2123 8429), the bar of the Catholic Institute (2124 2551), Carmen Azzopardi, Rabat (2145 4836) and Tereza Bazaar, Zabbar (2189 2730).
