• art...e Gallery is hosting an exhibition by Alfred Chircop showing several watercolours, all of which do portray the unique refinement that one expects from this foremost artist. • A Christmas musical for children Il-Ġrajja tal-Milied, will be staged at the Don Bosco Oratory chapel on Monday before the Midnight Mass. The musical will start at 11.30 p.m. The Mass will be animated by the band "Straight Ahead". Robert Buttigieg, 11, will deliver the traditional Christmas sermon.
• Today, at 10 a.m., Bishop Mario Grech will lead a Pontifical Mass at the Għajnsielem parish church at the end of the Advent novena. The Lauretana Choir will take part.
• Fantastic 4: Rise Of The Silver Surfer will be screened at the Don Bosco Oratory, Victoria, today at 5.30 p.m. Hairspray will be screened on Christmas Day at 5.30 p.m.
• The MUSEUM boys section, together with the Nadur council, is organising a Christmas concert at St Peter and St Paul Basilica on Christmas Day at 7 p.m.
• A Christmas soiree, including a live orchestra, carol singing and a short play, is being held at the Don Bosco Oratory hall, Victoria on Wednesday at 7 p.m. It will be staged by the Nadur MUSEUM (male section) under the direction of Mro Antoine Theuma.
• A soiree, Festive Winds, by the Victoria Clarinet Quartet will be held on December 30 at 7.30 p.m. at St. James church on Independence Square, Victoria.
• A Christmas concert is being held on Thursday at 7.30 p.m. at the Xagħra Basilica. The orchestra and the Chorus Urbanus will be under the direction of Mro John Galea.
• A live Christmas crib is being held at a farmhouse in Mannar Street, Xagħra. The crib will be open tomorrow between 6 and 9 p.m. and on Christmas Day between 3 and 9 p.m. It will also be open on December 28 (6-9 p.m.), December 29 (3-6 p.m.), December 30 (3-9 p.m.) and on January 1 between 3 and 9 p.m. The crib is being put up by The Guiding Light Group of the Jesus the Redeemer Community of Xagħra.
• Tomorrow, solemn vespers and Midnight Mass will be led by Bishop Mario Grech at the cathedral, Victoria.
• On Christmas Day, Mgr Grech will lead a Pontifical concelebrated Mass at St George's parish church, Victoria, at 11 a.m. At 6 p.m. Mgr Grech will lead a solemn Pontifical Mass at the cathedral.
• A biblical Christmas pageant with the participation of about 200 parishioners will be held along the main streets of San Lawrenż, tomorrow from 6.30 p.m. onwards.
• Processions with the statue of Baby Jesus accompanied by local bands will be held tomorrow from 6 p.m. onwards in various villages. They are being organised by MUSEUM members.
