Police find drug capsules in man's stomach
A man from Guinea Bissau has been arrested after 500 grams of heroin were found in capsules in his stomach.
The man, 40, was stopped and searched yesterday by policemen and Customs officers soon after arriving on a flight from Milan. Although an initial search on his person and suitcase proved negative the man was taken to Mater Dei Hospital where the drug was discovered in 50 capsules in his stomach.
Magistrate Joseph Apap Bologna is heading an inquiry.
