A total of 93 per cent of Maltese visitors and 85 per cent of the foreigners expressed this view while most of the respondents also recommended the exhibition to a friend, according to the survey. Only a third of the visitors were Maltese. Foreign visitors hailed mainly from Britain, the US, Germany and Italy in that order.

The Caravaggio showcase, called Caravaggio: L'Immagine del Divino was held at the museums of archaeology and fine arts in Valletta.
