Hooting for L-Istrina

Tonio Darmanin, presenter of the TV motoring programme Paqpaq , will be holding a motor show to raise funds for L-Istrina.

The show, named Paqpaqli ghall-Istrina, will be held at the MFCC, in Ta' Qali on December 23 and will involve over 400 vehicles, making it a unique show of its kind.

Motor enthusiasts will also be able to book a dream ride on one of the vehicles displayed at the show.

The highlight will be a Hummer, which is being driven from the Netherlands especially for the fund-raising event. Hummer is a brand of large off-road vehicles.

Bad weather will not disrupt the show as the majority of the vehicles will be in the MFCC tent.
