St Augustine College old boys meet again
A St Augustine College old boys reunion was held at the college, enjoying an "excellent" turnout in an occasion that reunited former pupils with their teachers and other members of the college administration.
The meeting showed they still held the college at heart, the organisers said. "It was a unanimous wish that such events should be held more frequently," they said.
Invitations were extended to students who left the college from the late 1980s.
After a welcoming speech by the rector, Fr Alan Scerri, a reception was held in the college hall.
The former students took the opportunity to go around the college, revisiting classrooms, and the new facilities, such as labs, the five-a-side artificial turf pitch and the refurbished gymnasium.
