ETC research forum

The Employment and Training Corporation is holding a research forum entitled 'Early exit from employment' on Tuesday at 2 p.m. at the Hotel Phoenicia, Floriana.

The forum will address a number of issues pertaining to experiences of individuals who leave work before retirement age. It will be based on the results of a qualitative study conducted among men aged between 55 and 60, who were neither working nor actively in search of a job.

The study sought to identify the various pathways into early retirement and how individuals have tackled the situation.

The forum will also focus on the role of the various stakeholders when faced with early retirement.
