Nursing practices

Godfrey Grima's response (December 3) to my letter (November 27) is as irrelevant to it as his references to the Mater Dei Hospital, its cost, time it took to be completed and its "cavernous" appearance are to the unprofessional nursing treatment allegedly received by his dear mother.

He asks me whether I would accept that sort of treatment for myself and my loved ones. My answer is "no", and it is discourteous of him, if not worse, for implying by his question that I wrote anything that would imply otherwise.

The rest of his letter does not deserve an answer since my letter clearly stated my views which need no further elaboration.
