As part of the ongoing Knowledge for all campaign, the European Insitute of Education (EIE) has donated books to the library of Ta' Xbiex council. This is yet another in a long series of donations presented to local councils in view of the institute's mission to make knowledge and education accessible to all.
As a tertiary education institution, the EIE does not only envisage the well-being of those who are already studying but also of all Maltese who would like to develop their skills.
Antonello Cappitta, managing director of EIE, said "the EIE has embarked on this campaign becauses it sees the importance for an expanding economy, that all Maltese are knowledgeable and have the right tools to continue developing their skills. Local councils are an asset because they are in direct contact with the people of the locality, thus are an ideal point of access for continuous educational development."
The EIE is licensed by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Employment. It's premises are in Ta' Xbiex.
