Jailed, fined for threatening witness

A man has been jailed for a month and fined Lm200 for threatening the victim and a witness in a pending court case against him.

Julian Genovese, 47, was found guilty of threatening the two women and causing them to fear him when he approached them while they were waiting to testify in a case against him at the law courts on November 15 at about 11 a.m.

Police Inspectors Alfred Mallia and Carlo Ellul prosecuted.
