Embellishment works at Qrendi village core
Embellishment works in the village core at Qrendi were inaugurated yesterday by Resources and Infrastructure Minister Ninu Zammit.
The works include paving with hardstone blocks on the church parvis, paving of the main road leading to the church and paving of pavements in the village core. Uplighters have also been installed to light up the façade and to remove unsightly masts supporting spot lights on the parvis.
Works were carried out by civil service employees at a cost of about Lm150,000.
