Grand charity ball

A grand charity ball, sponsored by the Radisson SAS Golden Sands Resort and Spa, will be held on Friday at the hotel in aid of the Malta Community Chest Fund.

The MCCF helps people in need, patients who require very expensive medicines, and relatives who accompany patients who need to go abroad for specialised treatment.

All these people need moral and financial support. There are people who are deprived of basic needs because of family problems, others need expensive medicinals.

Published financial accounts show that the MCCF distributes around Lm700,000 annually. Various activities organised throughout the year also make it possible for the Malta Community Chest Fund to assist those in need.

Tickets for the dinner, at Lm20 (€46.59) are available at the MCCF offices at the Palace, Valletta.
