Mark Marshall and Edward Camilleri beat 15 competitors and walked off with a prize of Lm1,000 after winning the Best Business Plan Competition 2007 (BBP) for their blueprint for a smart way of organising, storing and accessing data.
The competition was organised by Junior Chamber International Malta (JCI Malta).
Renaldo Arciola and Hermione Portelli clinched second place, while David Busuttil placed third.
The competition, supported by HSBC Malta, KPMG, Malta Chamber of Commerce and Enterprise, and Agenda Bookshop, came to an end at an awards night, when finalists presented their business plans to the audience and a panel of judges.
JCI's BBP competition gives participants the chance to put their creative, entrepreneurial, business and presentation skills to test, giving them also consultancy time with trainers to guide them in refining their business plans. Participants were also to meet possible investors for their business plans.
