Meeting on CLMS courses

An information meeting is being held on December 3 at the Foundation for Human Resources Development, San Ġwann, between 6 and 7.30 p.m. on Centre for Labour Market Studies (University of Leicester) courses starting in January.

Deadline for applications is December 19. Courses on offer include a certificate in training practice/training practice and HR management; diploma in training and development, HR management; Master's in HR development/HR development and performance management/ international HR and globalisation/industrial relations and HR; and a doctorate in social sciences.

All certificates, diplomas, Master's and doctorate programmes offered by the CLMS are recognised by the Academic Credentials Evaluation Board (ACEB) of the Malta Qualification Recognition Information Centre.

CLMS is a professional and internationally recognised provider of academic courses in HR management and development, whose programmes provide a sound theoretical basis, are regularly updated with the latest conceptual developments, and provide an interdisciplinary approach.

The programmes are offered through distance learning, providing flexibility in terms of where and when to study.

The centre has been providing academic programmes for over 15 years and has a sound tradition of research, which feeds directly into the course materials.

It is a department within the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Leicester, which is ranked among the top 20 universities in the UK. CLMS has over 1,000 students in 60 countries.
