Cruise passengers up 17 per cent so far

Total cruise passenger traffic in October this year amounted to 58,186, a decrease of 1,530 or 2.6 per cent of passengers over the same month in 2006.

In the first 10 months of this year, total cruise passenger traffic amounted to 425,891, an increase of 17 per cent over the same period last year.

In October, cruise liner calls dropped by four when compared to the same month in 2006, bringing the total for the first 10 months of the year to 318.
