A man was hospitalised after he fell a height of one-and-a-half storeys into the yard of a basement in Triq it-Turisti, Bugibba, the police said yesterday.

The man, probably a foreigner - the police said although they did not give details about his nationality - was brought out of the yard by personnel from the Civil Protection Department and was rushed to Mater Dei Hospital by ambulance.
