Floriana left Malta yesterday en route to Serbia where they will have a seven-day training camp.
The Greens, currently level with Sliema at the top of the Premier League with 16 points but with a game in hand vis-a-vis their Old-Firm rivals, were originally expected to go to Libya but they were forced to change destination at the eleventh hour after receiving a negative reply from the Libyan club they had been talking to.
This is Floriana's second visit to Serbia in less than six months after they had a 15-day training camp in Novi Sad in August. Kragujevac is the name of the Serbian town where the Floriana squad will practise for the next seven days.
Floriana's travelling party is made up of 20 people - 16 first-team players, coach Danilo Doncic and his two assistants and a club official.
On Sunday, Floriana booked their place in the second round of the FA Trophy after thrashing Mellieha 7-1.
Serbian defender Darko Krsteski, who netted Floriana's first two goals on Sunday, had to be substituted late in the first half after straining his hamstring. Krsteski is expected to have further tests on his injury during the squad's stay in Serbia.
