Borg, Zammit win again

Maltese players Alex Borg and Simon Zammit made it two wins from two matches at the IBSF World Championships, currently being played in Korat, Thailand. Borg, playing in Group D, had to draw on his vast experience to edge out Welshman Andrew Pagett 4-3.

Borg, playing in Group D, had to draw on his vast experience to edge out Welshman Andrew Pagett 4-3. The Malta champion today faces Dene O'Kane, of New Zealand, in a match that was originally scheduled to be played yesterday but was postponed for the following day.

Zammit also extended his winning start in Group C with a 4-2 win over Finnish player Maarku Hamalainen. Zammit is expected to resume his group commitments tomorrow with matches against John Meara (Northern Ireland) and Maltese-Australian player James Mifsud.
