The Maritime Museum, in Vittoriosa is closed until tomorrow because of urgent works being carried out on the building.

It will be open again on Saturday, following a three-day closure.

The works are part of a refurbishment programme being undertaken by Heritage Malta to upgrade its museums and sites.

Works are also underway at the War Museum, in Valletta.

Heritage Malta said it is working throughout the year to improve visitor satisfaction.
