Paul Gascoigne left Malta yesterday on an Air Malta flight to London Heathrow which departed at 4.50 p.m., a Malta International Airport spokesman told The Times.
On Sunday, the former England international football star was stopped from entering the airport's passport control section because he had had too much to drink.
Paul Gascoigne arrived in Malta a week ago to take part in last Thursday's Italy vs England Legends football match.
