Lessons to be Learnt from the Priceclub Judgment is the title of a seminar, being held tomorrow from 1.30 to 5 p.m. at the Corinthia Palace Hotel, Attard.
According to the organisers, the Malta Association of Credit Management, the four primary focus areas are the legal aspects arising from the Priceclub Operators Ltd judgment; directors' responsibilities as highlighted in the judgment; the value of audited accounts and auditors' reports; and measures to be implemented to protect creditors against the risk of a similar occurrence.
Dr Andrew Borg Cardona, the Priceclub liquidator, and Dr Reuben Balzan will be explaining the implications and relevance for local creditors and company directors.
Parliamentary Secretary Edwin Vassallo (Small Business and Self-Employed) and Parliamentary Secretary Carmelo Mifsud Bonnici (Justice and Home Affairs) will inaugurate the seminar.
