It is a shame that one of the most popular television programmes in Malta, Tista' Tkun Int! had to stop being aired on television after only seven years. I know that the programme's presenter, Rachel Vella, called it a day with Public Broadcasting Services in August but couldn't she start negotiations with another TV station? With an audience of more than 100,000 television viewers every Thursday evening and Sunday morning and numerous sponsors, I just can't understand why the termination of such an interesting programme had to happen.

Other popular programmes on PBS such as Xarabank and Dejjem Tieghek Becky, which also have more than 100,000 television viewers weekly, continued to be aired and both have been running on television for longer than Tista' Tkun Int!

Rachel, Colin and the rest of the Tista' Tkun Int! crew used to work around the clock nine months a year to help make those people's dreams come true. This indicates that this programme brought a lot of prosperity and emotions into a lot of Maltese and Gozitan families. The programme must be resumed in the near future, maybe in a year or two, as it has a sense of morality. I used to enjoy watching it as it used to show us that Rachel can help change the lives of those people who deserved to be nominated on Tista' Tkun Int!
