Malta University Services is organising a new course on Information Systems Control, Security and Audit. This 30-hour programme will commence tomorrow and lectures will be delivered every Monday and Wednesday evening.

This course, led by George Cassola, is specifically aimed at auditors of information systems, accountants, business executives who use computerised information systems, and IT practitioners involved in the development of Business Information Systems.

It will focus on the problems of keeping IT systems secure from error or abuse, whether internal or external, and will also examine how controls can be designed, within the systems and around them to achieve their optimum security and integrity.
