The Grand Prix De Malte, a celebration of classic sports, race and prestige cars dating from 1910 to 1975, kicks off tomorrow at 3 p.m. with a carcade through Valletta. There will be an exhibition of cars on Freedom Square.
On Tuesday, the event will cross to Gozo and carcade through Marsalforn, Xlendi and Victoria. On Wednesday, there will be a carcade in various Maltese towns and villages, Vittoriosa, Marsaxlokk and Blue Grotto.
Participants have the day to themselves on Thursday before the Concours d'Elegance on St Paul Square and Archbishop's Palace Square, Mdina, on Friday between 2 and 7 p.m. Free trials along the Valletta Ring Road will be held on Saturday between 2 and 7 p.m.
Time trials along the Valletta Ring Road will be held on Sunday from 10 a.m. to noon before the Grand Prix de Malte competitive race along the same road kicks off at 2 p.m.
