World Squash Day (WSD) will be celebrated at the Marsa Sports Club on Saturday, November 3, between 2 and 6 p.m.

The aim of WSD is to globally promote squash to people of all ages and to give people the chance to "come along and try" their hand at one of the fastest sports in the world. Squash is played locally and abroad by players from the age of seven to 77.

During WSD at the Marsa Sports Club, guests can join in sessions with a wide variety of players and coaches from the Marsa squash section.

Young and old, beginners and advanced players will be on hand to offer advice, show visitors around the club, explain the basics of squash and play a game or two.

Non-players will have the chance to see section members demonstrating squash and will of course be invited to 'have a go'.

Rackets and balls for this special activity have been donated by Wilson. More information may be obtained by sending an e-mail to paul@europeansquashacademy.com or by calling 7900-3053.
