A Public Broadcasting Services (PBS) board member has sued Labour leader Alfred Sant for libel over comments made during two political meetings.

Michael Seychell said Dr Sant made the comments in the course of public meetings in Marsa on September 16 and in Birzebbuga on September 20.

Mr Seychell said Dr Sant alleged that a PBS board member participated in decisions regarding his own daughter's company.
