When walls turn into canvas

Two thumbs up to John A. Consiglio's letter entitled The Regional Road... And Art which suggests using that massive, perfectly structured blank wall on the way down to Msida as a fantastic opportunity to make art.

I had often had the same thought before while stuck in traffic, snailing down bored, gazing outside the car window on that road on my way to work... I am so happy that someone had the same idea and brought it up.

These are those little things that can make a big difference easily. Mr Consiglio's letter goes on to encourage Culture Minister Francis Zammit Dimech to think about it, and now my letter is hereby telling Dr Zammit Dimech to do it, do it, do it!

As an artist I am hereby among the first booking space on it once we are given the go ahead.

And I suggest the same thing be done on both blank walls facing each other at the Valletta City Gate entrance making it much more inviting to all without the need of spending on any big project.
