Malta play Wales away

A good performance and a satisfactory result will rank high on the agenda of Malta U-21 who face Wales in a European Championship Group 10 qualifier in Wrexham tonight (kick-off: 8.30 p.m.).

Both teams have yet to collect their first points in the qualifying group even though Wales have only played one match - a 1-0 defeat to France - compared to Malta's three.

After an encouraging debut against Romania, which saw the Maltese suffer a last-gasp 1-0 defeat at the Hibs Ground, Mark Miller's boys looked second best to Bosnia (4-0) and France (2-0).
