Flood relief project
The government will next year launch the first phase of a flood relief project for the centre of Malta, the Prime Minister said yesterday.
Now that the flood risk at Qormi and Burmarrad had been reduced, attention would be focused on Birkirkara, Balzan, Lija and Msida, where an ambitious Lm30 million project had been planned, Dr Gonzi said. The project would be co-funded by the European Union.

Yeah right, we read such articles every time Malta is flooded and yet nothing has been done and Dr Gonzi actually expects people to believe this statement? Another thing I would like to mention is that politicians always tell us what they are going to do but always fail to tell us HOW it is going to be done. SO my question is Dr. Gonzi can you tell us exactly what is the action plan for this ambitious 30 million project?
