Those present at the Superbowl on Friday evening witnessed the first ever 'perfect game' in the history of the Senior Open, such honour falling to defending men's champion Christer Danielsson.

The Swede's feat came in the penultimate game of his second qualifying session when he hit 12 solid strikes in a row for the ultimate 300-game.
