The marriage took place on October 6 at St Mark's church, Rabat, between ADRIAN, son of Publius and Bernardette Cordina of Balzan, and JEAN-MICHÈLE, daughter of Anthony and Maria Dolores Blackman of Fgura. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Mgr Charles Cordina. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Lara Debono and Ing. John Muscat. Mr Pierre Cordina carried out the duties of best man. Dr Ilona Debono, Mr Anthony Cordina and Ms Maria Antonella Genovese were lectures. The bride was attended by Ms Nicole Blackman and Ms Anabel Cordina, sisters of the bride and groom respectively. A reception was later held at the Corinthia Room, Corinthia Palace Hotel, Attard.

The marriage took place on October 6 at St Anne's church, Zebbiegh, between STEVE, son of Joseph and Carmen Mamo of Attard, and PAMELA, daughter of Carmel and Catherine Sammut of Msida. Nuptial Mass was celebrated by Fr Jesmond Grech. The ceremony was witnessed by Ms Claire Mamo and Dr Roberta Muscat. The duties of best men were carried out by Mr Anthony Sammut and Mr Steve Ciantar. Mr Josef Abela and Mr Keith Sammut were ushers. The bride was attended by Ms Louise Sammut. A reception was later held at Castello dei Baroni, Wardija. The couple are spending their honeymoon in Mauritius.
Obituary
PORTELLI. TONINU, aged 85, formerly of V&F Portelli and Sons Ltd, passed peacefully away on October 13, comforted by the rites of Holy Church. He leaves to mourn his loss his beloved children Frank, Anna Sultana, Josette and Colin and their respective families, his brothers and sisters Joseph, Cettina Buttigieg, Tessie and Francis and in-laws Guza and Miriam, nephews, nieces, various relatives and friends, especially his carer Laura Azzopardi.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated tomorrow at 9 a.m. at St Cajetan parish church, Hamrun, followed by interment at Santa Maria Addolorata Cemetery. Donations to Id-Dar tal-Providenza will be appreciated. The family regret they are unable to receive visitors. A prayer for his repose is solicited.
