The Malta Society of Arts, Manufactures and Commerce has started its winter courses in art and crafts, which will continue until December 15. All the courses will be held at Palazzo De La Salle, 219 Republic Street, Valletta, and are open to everyone over the age of six.

Courses will be held in art, art 50 Plus, floral art, manga art, parchment crafts, clay sculpture, stone sculpture, woodcarving, beading, cottage craft, crochet, dress-making and cutting out, embroidery, embroidery in gold, embroidery on paper, filigree, ganutell, interior design, knitting, Malta lace, monastery, needle handcrafts, soft furnishing, tailoring, hansa, crib building, gilding, Christmas cards/decoration on parchment, history of art (Advanced Rennassance and Baroque), backstage, papier maché and portrait/figure painting and drawing.
