The Honourable Artillery Company (HAC) Squash Club will be in Malta this weekend to take part in a series of matches and training sessions organised by Squash Academy coach Paul Lake.

All activities will take place at the Marsa Sports Club and will also involve local players.

Touring sides are always a welcome sight as this gives Maltese players a chance to train and compete with overseas players, a statement from the organisers said.

An Invitation Challenge Tournament takes place today from 1 p.m. and a Team Challenge competition tomorrow, starting at 10.30 a.m.

The HAC Squash Club is based at the Honourable Artillery Company in London City. The club has two regular teams and plays in the Bath Cup which is contested by London clubs.

The HAC sides play their home matches at the Holmes Place Sports Centre near Moorgate in the grounds of the HAC.

The Honourable Artillery Company was incorporated by Royal Charter in 1537 by King Henry VIII. The present Captain-General is Queen Elizabeth.
