The Astronomical Society of Malta will be holding a tour of some of the most interesting sundials in Malta, located in Rabat.

No fewer than five old and rather unusual sundials are found at the Dominican Priory, while a highly accurate and modern sundial will also be visited at the Archbishop's Seminary, Tal-Virtù.

The tour starts in front the Dominican Priory, Triq George Borg Olivier on Sunday at 9.30 a.m.

Frank Ventura, who has carried out a study of sundials found in the Maltese islands, will be leading the tour, which is open to the public and is free of charge.
