A 24-year-old man was charged with trafficking in heroin three years ago.

Clayton Azzopardi, of Tarxien, pleaded not guilty to the possession of heroin in circumstances denoting it was not for his personal use and trafficking in the drug on and before December 2004.

Police Inspector Norbert Ciappara prosecuted.
