Car wash in aid of children's fund

Volunteers from Agenzija Appogg will hold a 50-hour car wash marathon in aid of the Appogg Children's Fund.

It will be held at the Ta' Xbiex Marina starting tomorrow at 6 p.m. and running until 8 p.m. on Sunday.

The Appogg Children's Fund is aimed at assisting children, directly or through their carers, to meet their basic or special demands.

Situations arise where these children need material support immediately, and where carers are unable to provide this support. This is particularly so in situations where children require food, clothing, medication, uniforms, books, payment for a school outing or project, sportswear, visits to a medical consultant or any specialised treatment (medical or psychological).
