More people employed

The full-time gainfully occupied population increased by 587 persons in June, when the registered unemployed decreased by 724 persons over the same month last year, the National Statistics Office said yesterday. The labour supply decreased by 137 persons.

The labour supply decreased by 137 persons. In the 12 months to June 2007, employment in the public sector went down by 597.
