The Malta Transport Authority (ADT) would like to point out that TF licence plates cannot yet be renewed on line because most TF plate holders are partially or fully exempted from paying their vehicle road license, and this process has not yet been automated.

The ADT is currently working on integrating this facility that will allow for the renewal of TF plates online. The service will be available early next year.
