HSBC Cares for Children Fund (HCCF) has funded a number of kitchen appliances to be installed in Agenzija Sapport's house in Cospicua.

Catherine Gonzi, chairman of HCCF said: "We saw the ongoing works at Agenzija Sapport's house in Cospicua when HSBC employees rolled up their sleeves to lend a helping hand during the annual CSR Day. The Fund's additional contribution will help finish the house to the highest of standards, for the benefit of the residents".

Agenzija Sapport provides community and residential services to persons with disabilities and their families.

"Enhancing the quality of life of disabled persons is one of our main aims," said Marcel Pisani, chief operations officer, Agenzija Sapport. "HCCF's donation has helped us secure the means whereby residents will be able to participate fully in community life."

Agenzija Sapport forms part of the Foundation for Social Welfare Services, which also incorporates Agenzija Appogg and Sedqa.
