We have just returned from Comino, after getting married on September 11 in Gozo. When you plan your marriage there are important factors, such as warm climate but not too hot, stunning setting, good food, clear blue sky, turquoise sea for swimming, friendly locals and a comfortable hotel where you feel cared for.
Our wedding ceremony took place at Ta' Cenc; thank you David Xeric and staff for a perfect setting.
We had our wedding meal at Otters in Marsalforn - thank you Alex Scicluna and staff, the food was perfect and the table looked lovely.
A very big thank you to Comino Hotel and Marco Abdilla, thank you Lourdes Bonello, who coordinated all our guests' arrivals over a five-day period, for a wonderful job well done, and the hotel staff who looked after us so well; they were at all times attentive, efficient and caring. It is not an easy job to please so many people in a large group but they exceeded all expectations.
For some in the group it was their fifth visit, and for us the second, but I feel sure we will all be back.
To Angelo Attard of the Gozo Princess, thank you, everyone had a memorable day.
Thank you Harry Debono, our wonderful taxi driver who looked after us and was a mine of information, and Jo Pima at the bus depot who organised the Bedford bus and not the new air-conditioned one. We loved the bus.
To all Gozitans whom we came into contact with over the two weeks, we feel privileged to have stayed on your lovely island. Thank you, don't change Comino/Gozo, it's perfect.
