Three treated in hospital after inhaling smoke
Three persons were taken to hospital to be treated for smoke inhalation after a fire broke out in St Julians yesterday.
Smoke was seen coming out of a private residence in Triq is-Sur Fonz at about 8.30 a.m., the police said. The fire started in a cooker and spread through the kitchen. It was extinguished by firemen from the Civil Protection Department.
The police are investigating.
