A 52-year-old man was yesterday charged with threatening to kill his wife and son and causing them to fear him.

The man pleaded not guilty to threatening his family members, harassing them and causing damage at his estranged wife's home on Tuesday.

Magistrate Antonio Mizzi granted the man bail against a personal guarantee of Lm2,000 and on condition he does not approach his wife and son.

The name of the man is not being published to protect the identity of the victims.
