The budget for 2008 will be presented to Parliament on Monday, October 15, the House Business Committee agreed yesterday.

Leader of the House Tonio Borg told the committee that the Leader of the Opposition would give his official reaction to the budget speech a week later and the Prime Minister will reply on October 24.

The debate in Committee of Supply will start on October 25 with morning and afternoon sittings up to November 2. The House was also told that MPs from both sides of the House will conduct tours of the Chamber of Parliament and committee rooms this Saturday evening as part of Notte Bianca.
