The Graffitti group has called on the government to recognise Katrine Camilleri's work - who was awarded the Nansen Refugee Award by the United Nations - by accepting her proposals for improving conditions at the detention centres.

While congratulating Dr Camilleri for the award, the group said the Jesuit Refugee Service was essential in providing hope to immigrants held in detention centres.
